Add Your Heading Text Here

TEXOPRINT SS is a unique high temperature stable acid buffer to maintain pH of the printing paste of disperse printing on polyester and blends and core alkali neutraliser specially developed for use during polyester fabric printing processes. This product can also be applied during heat setting, dyeing as well as for the rapid removal of alkali after caustic weight reduction treatment employed for silky softening of polyester fabrics. This is a high performance & low foam auxiliary.

Characteristics
Benefits
Good stability at high temperature

Powerful acid buffer. Stable over wide temperature range (30 to 200°C). It can also be used in open dye bath unlike other volatile Acid buffers.

Ability to neutralise alkali present in core of the fiber

Strong acid system can neutralize core alkali present in polyester fibre after scouring and alkaline weight reduction process.

Ensures and maintains consistent pH even at high temperature

It gives excellent acidity to polyester fibers and its blends after pretreatment, for efficient dyeing or printing process also protects the viscose rayon borders remains them unaffected by acid.

Safe to use

Also effective in yarn and fiber dyeing of polyester and its blend maintaining a steady pH with no tonal variation.

It is non foaming printing auxiliaries

It can also use as acid donor in disperse printing paste to insure evenly level prints and bright shades.

Application:

  • Acidification or Heat Setting of Polyester and its Blend:
TEXOPRINT SS – 1-2 gm/l is normally recommended for acidification along with heat setting at 170°C to get a pH 4 – 5.
    – This dosage is to be varied in bulk, depending upon the water quality and bath conditions.
  • Disperse Dyeing:
    TEXOPRINT SS – 0.5 – 1.0 gm/l to Adjust pH to 4.5 for dyeing.
  • Disperse Printing:
TEXOPRINT SS – 1 – 3% to achieve pH 4.0 – 4.5 to the printing paste can be used in gum, required  for printing. This eliminates the use of other acids or buffers and leads to prints with good levelness and solidity.
