PROZYME SIZE-X is a wide temperature and wide pH range bacterial α-amylase whose strong amylolytic power allows rapid conversion of the starch and modified starch size into dextrin, which are easily removed by rinsing following impregnation with enzyme.

Good stability to hard water

PROZYME SIZE-X is s a metalloprotein and can be stabilized by addition of calcium ions to the level of good stability to Hard water 200 – 400 PPM during the sizing removal. This helps to stabilize process at temperatures between 30⁰C –100⁰C.

STORAGE STABILITY

PROZYME SIZE-X is stable for 1 year when properly stored in closed containers at 20°C. The product is sensitive to temperatures below 0°C and above 40°C.

ECOLOGY AND TOXICITY​

The usual hygiene and safety rules for handling chemicals should be observed in storage, handling and use. The product must not be swallowed.

Application:

Dosage of PROZYME SIZE-X shall vary from process to process optimum dosage for winch, jigger, pad batch, pad roll, and pit storage etc. should be decided by trial and error method. Usual for padding dosage is 2-5 gpl.

  • PROZYME SIZE-X is active between pH 5.5 – 8.0. We recommend operating at a pH of 5.5 – 7.0.
  • PROZYME SIZE-X is active between temperatures of 300C –1000C.We recommend operating temperature of 60-90°C.
  • Recommended dosage of PROZYME SIZE-X in exhaust is 0.5% – 1.0% o.w.f.
