Characteristics |
Benefits |
---|---|
Effective hydrogen peroxide removal | It catalyse the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in water and oxygen, it insures the efficient and complete removal of hydrogen peroxide. |
Mild and environment friendly | It is mild and more environment friendly as compared to conventional peroxide killers. |
Specificity and selectivity | It is highly specific to hydrogen peroxide. It does not affect other components of the material being processed, leading to a more controlled and selective bleaching process. This specificity contributes to the preservation of the quality and characteristics of the substrate. |
Reduces chemical and energy | It can function at lower concentrations than traditional chemicals This means that less chemical input is required for the same for even improved bleaching efficiency, leading to cost savings and reduced chemical waste. Also works at lower temperatures compared to traditional chemicals hence result in energy savings. |
Bio-degradable and consistent performance | When properly controlled, offer consistent performance over time. It helps to maintain the quality and uniformity of the products, which is crucial in industries where product consistency is a key requirement. It is biodegradable, meaning they break down into harmless substances over time. This characteristic makes them more environmentally sustainable compared to some synthetic chemicals. |

FAQS
Cutting-Edge Fashion & Textile Solutions
PROZYME EPRK is an enzyme-based peroxide killer, making it milder and more environmentally friendly than traditional peroxide killers. It effectively catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen, preserving fabric quality and reducing chemical input.
PROZYME EPRK is biodegradable and requires lower concentrations to achieve efficient bleaching, resulting in reduced chemical waste. Additionally, it operates at lower temperatures, leading to energy savings, making it a more sustainable option for textile processing.
PROZYME EPRK can be applied in both exhaust and continuous processes, with a recommended dosage of 0.3 to 1 gpl for the exhaust method, depending on the amount of residual peroxide
