NI-SOFT FLAKES is a concentrated Non-ionic softener flakes imparts excellent surface softness along with anti-static nature on cellulosic, regenerated cellulosic material as well as synthetic material except acrylic, it imparts bulkiness and soft feel to the substrate.

Concentrated and versatile product

NI-SOFT FLAKES can be used for used for cellulose, keratin fibers, regenerated cellulosic material as well as synthetic material. Suitable to making stock paste for ready to use softener.

Soluble in hot water about 80⁰C to boil, best option for dilution is soaking overnight

Recommended dilution 1:10 to 10:12.

Low yellowing with temperature, NI-SOFT FLAKES is stable to dry heat up to 210°C

Stable to hard water as well as optical brightening agents also with all types of dyestuff.

Easy to handle due to stock paste consistency

It can be used in bleaching and dyeing bath as a softener and crease inhibitor and as a softener in finishing bath.

Soft handle with excellent surface smoothness

NI-SOFT FLAKES provides soft, bulky handle with bounciness in fabric.

Suitable for both batch and continuous method of application

Suitable for all types of machines like, soft flow, jigger & padding.

Application:

  • Preparation of Stock paste:
    – 10 parts of flakes in soaked in 50 parts Hot water (around 80⁰C to boil) soaked for overnight, add remaining hot water 40 parts & stir for 30 min, with high speed stirrer.
    – Heat flakes up to melt (around 80⁰C to 90⁰C) and then add hot water around 80⁰C.
  •  By Padding method:
    – 10 – 40 gms/l of NI-SOFT FLAKES (10% stock solution) is recommended in the padding bath depending on the type of fabric and desired softness.
    – Maintain the pH 4.5 – 5.5 in the bath.
  • By Exhaust method:
    – 0.5 – 2.0 % of NI-SOFT FLAKES (10% stock solution) is recommended in the exhaust method depending on the type of fabric and desired softness.
    – Maintain the pH 4.5 – 5.5 in the bath.
