FAQS
Cutting-Edge Fashion & Textile Solutions
COTY DFR is an economical silicon-based defoamer designed for controlling foam in water treatment, textile processing, and the paper industry, particularly in high-turbulence systems.
COTY DFR destroys existing foam and controls foam generation, ensuring smoother operations in high-temperature and high-pressure systems, without significantly impacting total dissolved solids (TDS).
For pretreatment and dyeing, use 0.3 to 1 gpl, and for water treatment in an ETP plant, use 0.1 to 0.3 gpl, depending on foam levels.
COTY DFR is suitable for all types of substrates and works efficiently across a pH range of 4.0 to 11.0, making it versatile for various industrial applications.
