COTY ACA-ELF is ultra low formaldehyde cross linking agent for easy care to impart durable press finish with very low free formaldehyde, COTY ACA-ELF, DP rating of 3.5 can be obtained depending on recipe and process. COTY ACA-ELF is also suitable for DP finishing of garments by spraying or soaking technique. Finish for cotton and their blends, especially for garment, suiting & shirting fabrics.

- Padding process (Durable press finish):
– Pick-up: 65-70%
– Bath pH: 5.0-6.0
– Low temp. Curing: 125-135 0C, 4-5 mins
– High temp. Curing: 150-160 0C, 3-4 mins
– Shock curing: 170-180 0C, 30-45 mins
– COTY ACA-ELF resin need to be used with a catalyst, Magnesium chloride (MgCl2). It need to be used 1/5th of COTY ACA-ELF in the bath. - Exhaust process:
– Bath pH: 4.5-5.0
– Bath Temp: Room temperature
– Time: 10-30 mins
– Hydro extract: Tumble dry
– Drying: 125-160 deg.C, 3-5 mins
