ADILON SAM is high power sequestering agent specially developed for scouring as well as bleaching of cotton, terry towel and polyester/cellulosic blends. It has a high chelating action for calcium, magnesium and iron under alkaline conditions and high temperature. It is also suitable for combined scouring and bleaching operations.

Traditional chelating agents are effective at a narrow pH range and are effective for limited hardness only. They do not withstand temperature and exhibit loss of performance. ADILON SAM offers highest efficiency for textiles application and is effective at wide pH. temperature range.

STORAGE STABILITY

ADILON SAM is stable for 1 year when properly stored in closed containers at 20°C. The product is sensitive to temperatures below 0°C and above 40 °C.

The usual hygiene and safety rules for handling chemicals should be observed in storage, handling and use. The product must not be swallowed.

Application:

  • Application depends on the quality of water used in processing.
  • General recommendation is to use 2-5 gpl to prevent water-marks and chelate iron, magnesium and calcium.
  • It is recommended to test the water hardness and the chelation effect of ADILON SAM in laboratory before deciding the dosages in bulk.
