ADILON MRX is a very powerful mercerizing and wetting agent to improve penetration of caustic in cotton. It results in rapid and uniform wetting of cotton by caustic and hence increases strength, luster, dye absorption and brightness of the fibre/fabric.

Promotes rapid, even penetration of cotton with caustic soda in a broad concentration (NaoH 20- 2*Be) accelerates diffusion of caustic soda into fibre in wet mercerizing processes.

Very high caustifying/mercerizing rates and uniform effects, even on high-twist yarns and tightly woven fabrics, which result in an increased dye uptake.

STORAGE STABILITY

ADILON MRX is stable for 1 year when properly stored in closed containers at 20°C. The product is sensitive to temperatures below 0°C and above 40 °C.

ECOLOGY AND TOXICITY

The usual hygiene and safety rules for handling chemicals should be observed in storage, handling and use. The product must not be swallowed.

Application:

ADILON MRX is added undiluted to the caustifying/mercerizing bath at 28-58° Tw (18 – 32° Bé) and evenly dispersed by switching on the circulating pump or stirring. If the bath has been left to stand for a prolonged period, the product may cream slightly, like all wetting agents used in mercerizing processes.

The application bath can, however, easily be re homogenized by stirring or circulating. ADILON MRX feed liquors are best continuously stirred.

Required amount:

  • Grey-State cotton : 4 – 7 g/l
  • Pre-treated goods : 2 – 3 g/l

Recuperation of caustic soda ADILON MRX generates very little foam in caustic soda recuperation. Spent liquors can be used for boiling out without adverse effects.
