ADILON HH is a unique high temperature stable acid buffer and core alkali neutraliser specially developed for use during polyester fabric printing processes. This product can also be applied during heat setting, dyeing as well as for the rapid removal of alkali after caustic weight reduction treatment employed for silky softening of polyester fabrics. This is a high performance, low foam auxiliary which eliminates the need for any acid addition to the process bath.

Is highly robust and retains its efficiency even at elevated temperatures encountered during the dyeing/print fixation of disperse dyes on polyester.

Mineral acid free product does not cause any damage to cellulosic fabric during processing.

It improves shade consistency and does not affect brightness of the shade.

STORAGE STABILITY

ADILON HH is stable for 1 year when properly stored in closed containers at 20°C. The product is sensitive to temperatures below 0°C and above 40°C.

ECOLOGY AND TOXICITY​

The usual hygiene and safety rules for handling chemicals should be observed in storage, handling and use. The product must not be swallowed.

Application:

  • During printing: ( Polyester and its blend with viscose or cotton)
    ADILON HH is 0.5 to 1% or can be adjusted depending on the pH of the thickener system.
  • During core alkali neutralization:
    Before heat setting of Polyester and its blends, add 0.5 to 0.75 g/l of ADILON HH (to maintain pH between 5 and 6).
  • During HTHP dyeing of Polyester:
    0.5 to 1 g/l ADILON HH (to maintain pH between 5 and 5.5).
