CWD FLAKES is a 100% cationic softener flakes used for cellulosics, regenerated cellulosic material as well as synthetic material. It imparts bulkiness and soft feel to the substrate.

Soluble in cold water, the best option for dilution is soaking overnight

Recommended dilution 1:10 to 10:12.

Low yellowing

CWD FLAKES is stable to dry heat up to 210°C. It gives minimal to no yellowing on white fabrics.

Soft handle with excellent surface smoothness

CWD FLAKES provides soft, bulky handle with bounciness in fabric.

Suitable for both batch and continuous method of application

Suitable for all types of machines like, soft flow, jigger & padding.

Application:

  • Preparation of Stock paste:
    Add 10 parts of CWD FLAKES in 50 parts of cold water. soak overnight, add remaining cold water 40 parts & stir for 30 min, with a high speed stirrer.
  • By Padding method:
    – 10 – 40 gms/l of CWD FLAKES solution is recommended in the padding bath depending on the type of fabric and desired softness.
    – Maintain the pH 5.5 – 6.0 in the bath.
  •  By Exhaust method:
    – 0.5 – 2.0 % of CWD FLAKES solution is recommended in the exhaust method depending on the type of fabric and desired softness.
    – Maintain the pH 5.5 – 6.0 in the bath.
